Lady Rams win with home run power
Roy-Hart used the long ball to key a 12-4 victory over host Lockport today in a non league softball game.
Ashley Bower banged out a three-run home run in the second inning and Lindsay Yates followed up with a three-run homer in the third frame to highlight the Roy-Hart attack which also included a three-run double by Madi Hiddie in the fourth inning.
Bower and Rachael Rausch both had two hits on the day.
Taylor Fry and Bower, who each pitched 3 innings, combined to hurl a 7 hitter with 7 strikeouts.
