Lady Rams win to hike N-O volleyball lead
Front-running Roy-Hart doubled its Niagara-Orleans League volleyball lead with a straight set 25-17, 25-18, 25-15 victory over Wilson this evening.
Improving to 6-0, Roy-Hart now holds a two match lead over Wilson and Newfane, which are both 4-2. Newfane downed Medina 25-16, 26-24, 25-23.
Lila Brigham had 12 kills and 4 aces, Ryleigh Capen 21 assists, Kylie McOmber 4 kills and Emily Livergood 3 kills for Roy-Hart.
Karlee Cau, Sam Heschke and Maddi Sanders each had 2 aces for Medina. Addy Paul added 2 kills and Heschke and Maya Anderson 1 each.
In the other match, Akron evened its record at 3-3 by downing Albion 25-19, 25-20, 25-11.
Hanna Kumalac had 4 aces and Julia Knight 3 kills for Albion.
