Lady Rams trip to Disney was a home run
Contributed Photo – Thanks to their fundraising efforts and the Roy-Hart Sports Boosters, the Lady Rams varsity softball team traveled to Orlando, Florida to Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports over the Easter week break. The Lady Rams played six games compiling a record of 3-3 against foes from New York, New Jersey and Wisconsin. The stay also saw the team focus on speed and agility training. The trip enabled the players to have a great time improving their skills and making some great memories. The Lady Rams are coached by John Grzymala. Assistant coaches are Randy Fry, Gerry Perkins and Carrie Choate. Team members, who are shown here at one of the diamonds at the ESPN complex, include seniors Jamie Bower, Maddie Fry, Ashley Hill, Lexie Lovewell, Emily Metz and Jayden Townsend; juniors Sam Choate and Sophia DiCenso; sophomores Mallory Steiner and Shelby Wolf and freshmen Claire Halstead and Reanna Perkins.
