Lady Rams roll to go to 5-0 in N-O soccer

Jumping out to a 3-0 half-time advantage, Roy-Hart went on to defeat Akron 6-0 this evening to remain undefeated at 5-0 in Niagara-Orleans League girls soccer competition.

Kara Choate scored the first two goals for Roy-Hart off assists from Nadia White and Brooke Livergood. White then scored as Choate earned the assist.

In the second half the Lady Rams had Choate score from Kaitlyn Mettler, Mettler from Choate and Livergood from Mettler.

The loss drops Akron to 0-4.

Volleyball
Medina defeated host Holley 25-21, 25-23, 25-17 this evening in a non league volleyball match.

Lorelei Sanders had 4 aces, Phallon Rivera 3 aces, Ki’Mani Poole, Hailey Wilkins and Faith Oberther 2 aces each and Amaya Cleveland had 1 kill and 1 block for the Mustangs.

Golf
Albion bested Barker 264-277 this afternoon to finish the N-O golf season at 7-5.

Barker’s Nathan Meza Ray took medalist honors with a 48.

Caleb Fox and Nick Andrews both shot 49 to lead Albion.

On Wednesday. Akron downed Albion 230-281.

Drew Romesser took medalist honors for Akron with a 43 as Trace Hill added a 43 and Jack Klodzinski a 45.

James Beach led Albion with a 49.
