Lady Rams return good nucleus

Despite losing 10 seniors to graduation, Roy-Hart returns a good nucleus of seven veteran players as the Lady Rams look to improve upon last year’s 3-9 Niagara Orleans League field hockey record.
Junior co-captains Rielly Albee and Angelina Ciarfella head that veteran group which also includes sophomore Delaney Draper and seniors Jillian O’Brien, Bethany Tanner and April Godfrey. Albee earned first team N-O All-League honors last fall.
The Lady Rams are also counting on juniors Pari Shepard, Victoria Thompson and Shannon Dent along with freshman Lexi Lovewell.
“We’re looking for our speed and quickness to be key for us,” said Coach Colleen Albee.
The Lady Rams open the N-O season at Newfane on September 1.
