Roy-Hart rallied to edge past host Albion 2-1 this evening to stay in the thick of the Niagara-Orleans League girls soccer title race.

Trailing 1-0, Roy-Hart rallied into the lead for good on a quick two goal scoring burst by Kara Choate midway through the second half. She netted the equalizer at the 22:18 mark on a breakaway and the game winner with 18:30 to go on a shot from a very sharp angle.

Albion had grabbed a 1-0 lead when Abby Scanlan scored at 29:43 of the second half off an assist from Aly Knaak.

The victory boosts Roy-Hart’s N-O record to 6-1-1 and keep the Lady Rams close behind front-running Akron which is at 8-1.  The Lady Rams will visit Akron in a key showdown contest on Wednesday.
