Nine returnees anchor the lineup for Roy-Hart which will open Niagara-Orleans League field hockey competition at Kenmore on August 31.

That veteran contingent includes seniors Delaney Draper, Katelin Corra, Sydney Newton and Holly DiMayo along with juniors Jayden Townsend, Lexi Lovewell, Jamie Bower and Raylynn Chraston and sophomore Samantha Choate.

“We’re excited about the season,” said Coach Colleen Albee. “We’ve got a good group back. We’ve got some good stick handlers and good speed.”

Roy-Hart, which went 7-5 in N-O competition last fall, did lose 8 seniors to graduation  including first team All-Leaguer Angela Ciarfella and Honorable Mention selections Rielly Albee, Pari Shepard and Shannon Dent.
