This one went to the absolute limit as No. 5 seed Allegany-Limestone outlasted top seeded defending champion Roy-Hart 4-3 in a sudden death shootout this evening in the semifinals of the Section VI Class B2 girls soccer playoffs at Sweet Home.

Each team then scored twice in the round of five shootout with Kaitlin Mettler and Nadia White tallying for Roy-Hart and Maddie Callen and Cait Kellogg for Allegany-Limestone.

Allegany-Limestone then took a 4-3 lead on a goal by Payton Fortuna. That proved to be the game winner for the Allegany-Limestone as goalie Chloe Baker made the save on the Lady Rams next shot giving the Gators the marathon victory.

Roy-Hart had 6 corner kick opportunities during regulation time and Emma Marsillo made 7 saves in goal for the Lady Rams. Marsillo also had a pair of saves in each of the two overtime periods.
