Lady Rams nip Purple Eagles in double OT

Host Roy-Hart outlasted Albion 2-1 in double overtime to highlight this evening’s Niagara-Orleans League girls soccer competition.

Kara Choate scored the game winner for Roy-Hart early in the second overtime. She also netted the Lady Rams other goal in the second half.

Nadia White and Ava Owens earned assists on the Lady Rams  tallies.

Abby Scanlan scored Albion’s goal in the second half off an assist from Nicolina Creasey.

Roy-Hart is now 2-0 and Albin 1-1 in N-O action.

In the other N-O contests, Wilson edged Akron 3-2 and Newfane shutout Barker 5-0.

Lily Avery, Leia Cloy and Maddy Seeley each scored a goal for Wilson which jumped out to a 3-0 lead.

Kara Sequin and Natalie Karmaczyn scored for Akron.

Wilsn is now 2-0 and Akron 0-2

Rachel Chunco scored three goals to lead Newfane as Anna Chunco and Liza MacFarlane each added one.

Newfnae is now 1-1 and Barker 0-2.
