Lady Rams nip Mustangs in double overtime

One hundred minutes of soccer netted just one goal as Roy-Hart edged past Medina/Lyndonville 1-0 in double overtime this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League girls soccer game at Gasport.

Meghan Washington scored the lone goal for the Lady Rams with 8:30 remaining in the second 10 minute overtime period.

Roy-Hart is now 3-8 and Medina/Lyndonville 3-7 in N-O action.

Medina/Lyndonville next hosts Albion at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Boys Soccer

Medina/Lyndonville 2, Oracle 2

Medina/Lyndonville scored with just 10 seconds remaining on a tally by Nate Sherman, off an assist from Trevor Hare, to earn a 2-2 tie with host Oracle in a non league game.

Owen Frasier scored the Mustangs other goal in the first half off an assist from Matt Hess.

Medina/Lyndonville’s Alisha Scroger and Roy-Hart’s Josephine Capen battle for control of the ball.
