Five players who earned spots on the All-League squad last spring anchor Roy-Hart’s veteran laden lineup as the Lady Rams prep to open the Niagara-Orleans softball season at home on Friday against Wilson at 4:45 p.m.

That All-League contingent includes first team honorees senior infielder Kaitlin Mettler and junior outfielder Hayley Hillburn; second team selections junior pitcher Abby Fox and junior catcher Peyton May along with Honorable Mention pick junior outfielder Alayna Kowalski. Senior outfielder Lila Brigham, who is out with an injury, also earned Honorable Mention.

The Lady Rams veteran group also includes seniors Emily Duewiger (Infield), Olivia Marsillo (Infield/Outfield), Jacie Craft (Outfield) and Savanna Holt (Infield) along with juniors Ryleigh Capen (Outfield) and Millie Owens (Infield/Outfield).

“We didn’t have any seniors on the team last year so we do return a lot of experience,” said Coach Taylor Kneeland. “We’re hoping all of that experience will make for a good, successful season.”

Roy-Hart went 7-5 in N-O competition last year.
