Lady Rams grab N-O volleyball lead

Taking over sole possession of first place Roy-Hart scored a straight set 25-8, 25-8, 25-11 win over visiting Akron in a Niagara-Orleans League volleyball match this evening.

Grace Pearl had 7 kills and 5 aces, Lila Brigham 5 kills, Raegan Kern 4 kills and Ryleigh Capen 7 aces and 15 assists.

Roy-Hart improves to 3-0 and Akron slips to 2-1.

Newfane 25-18-16-25-16, Albion 17-25-25-15-14
Newfane outlast Albion in a five set marathon 25-17, 18-25, 16-25, 25-15, 16-14.

Hannah Kumalac had 11 assists, Jordan Simmons 7 kills and 4 aces, Julia Knight 4 blocks and 4 aces and Paige Newton 25 digs for Albion.

Newfane is now 2-1 and Albion 0-3.

Wilson 25-25-25, Medina 14-23-19
Wilson bested host Medina in three sets 25-14, 25-23, 25-19 to improve to 2-1.

Maddy Watts had 4 aces, Sam Heschke 2 aces, Karlee Cau 3 kills and Maya Anderson 2 kills and 1 block for Medina which is now 0-3.
