Lady Rams get big boost from returnees

When it comes to returning players the Roy-Hart girls basketball team has a bit of an extra special veteran group this season.

Sophomore Adella Dukes, who earned first team Niagara-Orleans All-League honors last year, along with senior Lila Brigham and sophomore Courtney Aquilina, who were both Honorable Mention selections, head Roy-Hart’s group of returnees from last year which also includes senior Zamora Garcia-Cacique and juniors Kylie McOmber and Millie Owens.

In addition, the Lady Rams also have back senior Kaitlin Mettler who did not play last year but earned second team All-League honors as a sophomore.

“We have a real good group back from last year and also having Kaitlin back with us is really positive,” said Coach Grace Swick.

Roy-Hart will host Alden on December 3 and visit JFK on Dec. 6 before opening the N-O season at defending champion Wilson on Dec. 12.
