Lady Rams earn top seed for B2 sectionals; Purple Eagles open in B1 playoffs today
A perfect 12-0 Niagara-Orleans League championship season has earned Roy-Hart the No. 1 seed for the Section VI Class B2 softball playoffs.
The Lady Rams will open on Thursday against the winner of today’s contest between No. 8 Gowanda and No. 9 Southwestern.
Also in Class B2, No. 4 seed Medina will host No. 5 Olmsted in the quarterfinals at 4:45 p.m. Thursday. and No. 6 Akron will entertain No. 3 Cleveland Hill.
Today, No. 7 Wilson will host No. 10 JFK with the winner to visit No. 2 Eden on Thursday.
In Class B1, No. 7 Albion hosts No. 10 CSAT at 4:45 this afternoon. The winner will visit No. 2 Fredonia in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
Also today, No. 8 Newfane will host No. 9 Springville with the winner to visit No. 1 Olean on Thursday.
In Class C, No. 8 Barker will host No. 9 Holland at 4:45 p.m. Thursday with the victor visiting No. 1 Portville on May 21.
