Lady Rams earn share of N-O title; Lady Hawks complete G-R Division 1 title season

Earning a share of a third straight title, Roy-Hart closed out the Niagara-Orleans League girls soccer season with a 5-0 victory over Medina at Vets Park this afternoon.

Roy-Hart finishes in a tie for the N-O title at 9-1 with Wilson which downed host Akron 2-1.

The Lady Rams jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first 5 minutes on a pair of goals by Kaitlin Mettler, both off assists from Nadia White.

The Roy-Hart advantage doubled to 4-0 before half-time on goals by White and Kaylie Churchill, off an assist from Mettler.

Allie Trombley netted the Lady Rams lone second half goal.

Leah Cloy and Rian Faery each scored a goal for Wilson while Katie Leeds scored for Akron which finishes the N-O season at 5-4-1.

In the other N-O game, Newfane (4-5-1) downed Albion (1-9) 3-1.

Holley 5 Attica 0
Holley completed an 11-1-1 Genesee Region League Division 1 championship season with a 5-0 victory over Attica.

Samantha Bates, Jailyn Bishop, Emma Brady, Caitlin Dobri and Ryleigh Weader each scored a goal for the Lady Hawks. Bates also had 3 assists as Bishop and Alivia Wolf each had 1.

Medina’s Stella Poler battles with Roy-Hart’s Allie Trombley for control of the ball as Katelynn Hilobuk is in support.
