Lady Rams cap 12-0 N-O title season with win over Lady Tigers; Mustangs post shutout

Roy-Hart completed a perfect 12-0 Niagara-Orleans League softball championship season this afternoon by downing Akron 9-5.

Jayden Townsend belted a three-run triple to highlight a decisive seven run third inning which keyed the victory for Roy-Hart.

Delaney Draper also had 2 hits and drove in a pair of runs for the Lady Rams.

Sam Choate picked up the win in the circle registering 4 strikeouts.

The loss drops Akron to 6-4.

Medina 14, Wilson 0
Lacey Kenward hurled a 4 hitter with 7 strikeouts to lead Medina past visiting Wilson 14-0 as the Mustangs finish the N-O campaign in the runner-up spot at 10-2.

Ashlee Howell had 4 hits, Ryenn Oliver 3, including a double, and Camri King a home run to highlight the Medina offense.

Wilson slips to 3-7.

Barker 14, Newfane 13

Trailing 13-12, Barker rallied in the bottom of the seventh inning on a two-run home run by Kylie Miller.

Miller had a total of 4 hits and 8 RBIs on the day for the Lady Raiders as Sydnie Luckman and Ella Fox both had 3 hits.

Barker finishes the N-O season at 4-8 while Newfane is 0-11.
