Lady Rams are No. 1 seed for Class B2 playoffs

Defending champion Roy-Hart has earned the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Section VI Class B2 girls soccer playoffs.

The Lady Rams, which shared the Niagara-Orleans League title with Wilson at 9-1, will host the winner of the first round matchup between No. 9 Southwestern and No. 8 Falconer/Cassadaga Valley at 6 p.m. Friday.

Wilson has earned the top seed in Class C and will host the winner of the opening round Pine Valley/Gowanda vs. Cattaraugus/Little Valley at 6 p.m. Friday.

Also in Class B2, No. 13 Medina will visit No. 4 Alden, No. 7 Akron will host No. 10 Eden and No. 11 Newfane will visit No. 6 Springville at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

In Class B1, No. 11 Albion will visit No. 6 Tonawanda at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Section VI Boys Soccer Playoffs
In Class B1, No. 11 Albion will visit No. 6 Lackawanna at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Class B2 openers on Tuesday will have No. 15 Silver Creek at No. 2 Roy-Hart at 6:30 p.m.; No. 12 Medina at No. 5 Southwestern at 7 p.m.; No. 16 Newfane at No. 1 Allegany-Limestone at 6 p.m. and No. 9 Cassadaga Valley at No. 8 Akron at 3:30 p.m.

Section V Boys Soccer Playoffs
In Class C1, No. 7 Holley will host No. 10 Sodus at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

In Class C2, No. 8 Kendall will host No. 9 Wheatland-Chili at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

In Class D1, No. 11 Lyndonville will face No. 6 Arkport/Canasaraga at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Dansville.

Section V Girls Soccer Playoffs
In Class C 1, No. 3 Holley will host No. 14 Alexander at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

In Class C2, No. 12 Kendall will visit No. 5 Caledonia-Mumford and No. 13 Lyndonville/Barker will visit No. 4 Warsaw both at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
