Lady Hornets down Lady Tigers

Three-run scoring bursts in both the first and second innings keyed Oakfield-Alabama to a 7-3 victory over visiting Lyndonville this afternoon in a Genesee Region League softball game.

Hannah Dunlap had a home run to ignite the Lady Hornets first inning and a triple to cap off the second inning uprising.

Maddy Boyle allowed 7 hits and struck out 8 in the circle for Lyndonville which drops to 10-3 in the league and 12-3 overall.

Attica 17, Holley 2

Maddy Papaj had a home run and Anna Brasted and Bri Barber doubles for Holley in the 17-2 G-R loss to Attica.

Alexander 5, Kendall 4

Trailing 4-1, Alexander rallied for four runs in the sixth inning ,three of them unearned, to nip visiting Kendall 5-4 in a G-R contest.

Kali Haskins had 2 hits, including a triple, and Chelsea Wright a double for Kendall which left runners stranded at second and third in the top of the seventh.
