Lady Hawks top Lady Tigers; Kendall wins

A quick three goal scoring burst late in the first half broke the contest open as Holley went on to defeat Lyndonville/Medina 6-0 in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game this evening at Vets Park.

Holley did grab a quick 1-0 lead on a goal by Hayley Skidmore off an assist from Samantha Bates in the first five minutes.

The Lady Hawk then broke the contest wide open with the decisive three goal uprising as Kayleigh Neale scored with 8:43 to go in the first half, Bates tallied at 6:46 and then Halee Passarell scored at 5:03.

Allison Lyndaker rounded out Holley’s scoring with a pair of second half goals as Neale and Passarell earned assists on the second tally.

Emma Brady made three saves to earn the shutout in goal for the Lady Hawks.

Holley improves to 9-1-2 with the win while Lyndonville/Medina slips to 2-10.

Kendall 1, Notre Dame 0

A second half goal by Megan Gates was enough to earn Kendall a narrow 1-0 G-R win over Notre Dame.

Kailie Regan made three saves to earn the shutout in goal for the Lady Eagles.

Kendall improves to 6-4-1.
