Lady Hawks post win over Lady Raiders

Leading from wire to wire, Holley posted a 46-29 victory over host Barker this evening in a non league girls basketball game.

Olivia Radford scored 15, including four threes, Madison Marsh 13 and Halee Passarell 10 to lead the way for Holley as Sarah Klatt added 7 and Julia Smith 1.

Gabby Baker and Serena Harris both scored 9, Rachel Parfinski 8 and Bailey Sutch 3 for Barker.

Holley jumped out to a 6-0 lead at the outset on a jumper and  a layup off a steal by Passarell and a jumper by Klatt.

The Lady Hawks upped the lead to 13-2 at the end of the opening period which saw Klatt, Passarell and Marsh each score 4.

The Lady Hawks maintained an eight point, 17-9, lead at the half and upped the advantage a bit to 12, 31-19, at the three-quarter mark.

Radford scored 8, including a par of threes, and Passarell 4 in the third period for Holley while Baker, Harris and Parfinski all hit threes for Barker.

Marsh then scored 7 and Radford hit two more threes in the final stanza to help cap off the Lady Hawks win.

Holley is now 3-6 and Barker 1-9.
