Lady Hawks nip Lady Eagles in overtime
Oakfield-Alabama/Elba edged past visiting Kendall 4-3 in overtime this afternoon to open the Genesee Region League girls soccer season.
Isabella Riner scored the game winner for the Lady Hornets with two minutes to go in the second 10 minute overtime period. It was her second goal of the game.
The teams had traded goals three times during regulation time.
Alezya Brown scored all 3 Kendall goals as Lizzy Woodhams picked up the assist on the first two tallies.

In the consolation game, Midlakes shutout Roy-Hart 3-0.
