Lady Hawks, Lady Rams score tourney wins

The host Lady Hawks downed CG Finney 6-0 and Roy-Hart bested Alden 7-0 this evening in the semifinal round of the Holley girls soccer tournament.

Holley jumped out to a 2-0 first half lead on goals by Tatum Gagne and Emma Brady, both off assists from Sara Kingdollar.

The Lady Hawks then put a lock on the win in the second half as Alivia Wolf had two goals and Brady and Samantha Bates one each.

Roy-Hart’s Kara Choate set a school record by scoring seven goals including five in the first half and two in the first 15 minutes of the second half to lead the Lady Rams past Alden.

Grace Trombley, Kaylie Churchill, Grace Parker, Allie Trombley and Ava Owens all took turns earning assists.

Roy-Hart will now face Holley in the championship game at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Alden and Finney will meet in the consolation contest at 4:30 p.m.

In a Genesee Region League opener, Attica downed visiting Lyndonville/Medina 4-0.
