Lady Hawks earn No. 1 seed for C1 sectionals

Top seeded Holley will open Section V Class C1 girls soccer tournament action at home at 6 p.m. Friday against the winner of Tuesday’s opening round contest between No. 8 Red Creek and No. 9 East Rochester.

The Lady Hawks posted a 13-3 record during the regular season and earned a share of a second straight Genesee Region League Division 1 title with a 7-1 division record.

Also in Class C1, No. 11 Lyndonville will open at No. 6 Letchworth at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

In Class C2, No. 9 Kendall will visit No. 8 Caledonia-Mumford at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Section V Boys Soccer Pairings

In Class C1, No, 10 Holley will open against No. 7 Campbell-Savona at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Perry.

In Class C2, No. 6 Kendall will face No. 11 South Seneca/Romulus at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wheatland-Chili.
