Lady Hawks and Lady Eagles post G-R wins
Holley romped past Pembroke 8-1, Kendall trimmed Oakfield-Alabama/Elba 3-2 and Wheatland-Chili nipped Lyndonville/Barker 1-0 in Genesee Region League girls soccer games today.
Alivia Wolf scored 2 goals for Holley as Brynn Thomas, Ella Turpin, Brianna Tomasino, Zoey Wolf, Kayla Burne and Hanna Ostrom each netted 1. Aliva Wolf also had 3 assists and Thomas 2.
The Lady Hawks improve to 7-3-1.
Ryleigh Denning scored 2 goals and Sophia Picardo 1 for Kendall. Olivia Sawyer had 2 assists and Payton Vogt 1.
Kendall is now 9-1.
A goal midway through the second half was enough to earn W-C the narrow win over Lyndonville/Barker.
A strong defensive effort from goalie Isabella Groves and defenders Leah Costello, Brooke Robinson, Abby Alexander and Lilly Raduns kept Lyndonville/Barker in the game.
