With no less than seven starters returning, Kendall is looking for a solid season in Genesee Region League softball competition this spring.

Sophomore pitcher Chelsea Wright heads that veteran contingent which also includes seniors Taylor Kingsbury (shortstop), Kali Haskins (outfield/ third base), Sarah Gardner (outfield) and Carley Lester (third base/outfield) along with sophomores Kacey Menge (catcher) and Madison Rath (first base).

“We will be in a very competitive division but the experience we got last year and getting that first sectional win was huge so we hope to build on that,” said Coach Jeff Parizek. “Our pitching is solid. The key will be can we back her up defensively.”

Kendall’s roster also includes seniors Brianna Jurs (second base), Kristen Jacob (second base/outfield), Brooke Butterfield (outfield), Marisa Hanlon (second base/outfield), Skye Brice (outfield), Blacey Bakutis (outfield), Hannah Evans (second base/shortstop), Becca Pearson (third base) and Kellie Moore (outfield) along with junior Sarah Pearson (outfield).

The Lady Eagles are scheduled to open the G-R season at rival Holley on April 8.
