Lady Eagles outscore rival Lady Hawks

Kendall outlasted host Holley 23-18 this afternoon in a wind swept Genesee Region League softball game.

Sarah Pearson had 6 hits and Taylor Kingsbury 4 with 5 RBIs to set the pace for Kendall which also had Madison Rath with 2 doubles and Kali Haskins 2 hits and 2 RBIs.

Tabby Swift had 4 hits, including a triple, home run and 6 RBIs for Holley, as Anna Brasted and Riley O’Mara both added 2 hits.

Trailing 12-7, Kendall rallied with 5 run scoring bursts in both the fourth and fifth innings to key the win.

Newfane 11, Barker 0

Cassidy Geise hurled a 1 hitter with 4 strikeouts to lead Newfane past Barker 11-0 in a Niagara-Orleans League game.

Alexa Littman had 2 doubles and 4 RBIs for Newfane as Gabby Sinnott added 2 hits, Olivia Littman a double and Katie Kneeland 2 hits with a double. Kneeland also turned a double play to highlight the Lady Panthers defensive effort.

Newfane is now 5-1 and Barker 1-4 in N-O competition.

Akron 18, CSAT 0

Mattie Klein registered 13 strikeouts in the circle to lead Akron past CSAT.

Abby Stone had 4 hits for the Lady Tigers while Sydney Leeds scored 5 runs and Sarah Schultz 4.

Akron is now 3-1 and CSAT 0-4.
