Lady Eagles enjoy title season

Compiling a 12-1-2 record, Kendall captured the Genesee Region League girls soccer championship this season. The Lady Eagles went on to earn the top seed for the Section V Class CC playoffs but dropped a narrow 1-0 decision to Caledonia-Mumford in the title contest finishing at 15-2-2 overall. In front are Kristen Jacob, Maya Rutland, Sarah Boyle, Nicole Browe, Marisa Hanlon and Rachel Ackles. In the middle row are Kari Hurlbutt, Tania Arellano, Alyssa Hering, Tessa Vick, Taylor Rutland, Shelby Reis and Jorden Ammerman. In the back row are Coach Pam Beres, Amanda Jones, Jaimie Smith, Taylor Kingsbury, Toni ReQua, Taylor ReQua, Heather Blodgett and Alexis Bartel. Browe, Maya Rutland, Taylor ReQua and Jacob all earned G-R League All-Star honors and Beres was named G-R and Section V Class C Coach of the year. Maya Rutland led Kendall’s balanced scoring with 15 goals and 9 assists while Browe had 14 goals and 4 assists and Taylor ReQua 12 goals and 10 assists.
