Lady Eagles earn OT Homecoming win

Kendall celebrated Homecoming by nipping Oakfield-Alabama/Elba 2-1 in double overtime this afternoon in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game.

The Lady Eagles claimed the narrow victory when Taylor ReQua scored with 3:11 into the first overtime off an assist from Michela Hanlon.

Earlier, Kendall rallied to tie the contest at 1-1 as Brianna Wakefield scored with 2:27 to go in the first half off an assist from ReQua.

Kendall improves to 6-1 in the league and 7-2 overall.

The Lady Eagles next host Notre Dame on Tuesday.
