Lady Eagles down rival Lady Hawks

Leading from wire to wire, Kendall downed visiting rival Holley 40-27 this afternoon to close out the Genesee Region League girls basketball season.
Lia Larson scored 9 points and Stella Kwiatek and Izzy D’Agostino 8 each to lead the balanced attack for Kendall. Brooke Rodas and Ava LaMay both added 4. Sophia Picardo 3 and Addison Kludt and Mia Price 2 apiece for the Lady Eagles.
Alivia Wolf took game high scoring honors for Holley with 17 as Zoey Wolf and Hanna Ostrom both had 3 and Alexis Vanameron and Ella Turpyn 2 each.
Kendall jumped out to a 14-2 first quarter lead as five players contributed baskets including threes by Kwiatek and Larson.
The Lady Eagles maintained leads of 27-11 at the half and 30-19 at the end of the third quater. Five players contributed baskets in both the second and fourth quarters.
Kendall finishes the regular season at 9-6 in G-R competition and 11-8 overall.
Holley winds up at 2-13 and 5-14 overall.
