A second half comeback bid fell short as Lyndonville dropped a 44-30 decision to visiting Pembroke this evening in a Genesee Region League girls basketball game.

Trailing 23-8 at the half, Lyndonville rallied back to within six, 36-30, in the fourth quarter but Pembroke countered with an 8-0 run to close the game and claim the win.

Arlyse Johnson led Pembroke with 18 points.

Anna Lewis and Makenzie Muck each scored 9 points and Aubrey Lewis 8 for Lyndonville. Muck also grabbed off 7 rebounds.

Oakfield-Alabama 38, Kendall 23
Oakfield-Alabama used 12-4 fourth quarter scoring edge to earn a 38-23 G-R victory over visiting Kendall.

Brianna Smith scored 9 for Oakfield-Alabama which also got 8 points in the final quarter from Hannah Scarborough.

Taylor Rutland scored 8 and Taylor ReQua 7 for Kendall which trailed 16-8 at the half and 26-19 after three quarters.
