Barker rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to nip visiting Notre Dame 7-6 in a non league softball game this afternoon.

Trailing 6-4, Barker tied the game on a run producing double by Arnie Sturtevant and an RBI single by Kaylee Stoll as a single by Michayla Greene ignited the rally.

A walk and an error then loaded the bases setting the stage for Samantha Murphy’s two out game winning RBI single.

Earlier, the Lady Bulldogs scored once in the third on a home run by Peyton Bradley, twice in the fifth on a bases loaded walk and a single by Greene and once in the sixth on a single by Madyson Flint after Notre Dame had built up leads of 4-0 and 6-3.

Bradley, Greene and Elise Monaco each finished with a pair of hits. Monaco’s hits included a double.

Barker is next scheduled to host Oakfield-Alabama in a non league game at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
