Lady Bulldogs rally in 7th to nip Lady Tigers
Rallying in dramatic fashion, Barker scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to nip visiting Lyndonville 8-7 in a non league softball game this afternoon.
A two-out, two-run single by Kaylee Stoll earned Barker the walk off victory. An RBI single by Macie May and an error plated the inning’s first two runs as singles by Rachel Sutter and Madelina Pavlock set up the threat.
Trailing 4-1, Lyndonville had rallied into a 7-4 lead by scoring three times in both the fifth and sixth innings.
A double by Brooke Robinson along with singles by Elise Barry and Kayli Miller plated the three runs in the fifth while Addie Dillenbeck belted a three-run home run in the sixth.
Stoll finished with 3 hits as May, Pavlock, Sutter, Anna Bowerman, Madyson Flint and Arnie Sturtevant each had 2 for the Lady Bulldogs.
Groves had 3 hits for the Lady Tigers as Dillenbeck, Robinson and Barry each had 2.
Roy-Hart 15, Pembroke 7
Trailing 7-5, Roy-Hart rallied for 6 runs in the fifth inning and 4 more in the sixth to down host Pembvroke 15-7 in a non league contest.
Grace Pearl had a two-run single in the fifth frame as three errors plated the other runs.
Macie May then had an RBI double in the sixth as two passed balls and an error drove in the other runs.
