Lady Bees edge past Lady Tigers

Byron-Bergen edged past visiting Lyndonville 49-42 this evening in a Genesee Region League girls basketball game.

Ava Wagoner scored 11 and Cavi Caballero 10 to lead the way for Byron-Bergen which used a 15-9 third period scoring edge to break away from a 19-19 halftime deadlock and move out to a 34-28 advantage heading into the final quarter.

Ella Lewis led Lyndonville with 11 as Lorelei Dillenbeck added 8, Karlee Rounds 7, Alexis Hughes 6, Ashlee Stephens 5 an Kaylee Nesbitt 3

Alexander 52, Holley 27

Building up a 29-10 halftime advantage, Alexander went on to defeat visiting Holley 52-27 in another G-R contest.

Haley Kramer led the Lady Trojans with a game high 19 while Halee Passarell paced Holley with 12.
