Lady Bees down Mustangs in softball opener

The Lady Bees posted a 20-12 victory over the Mustangs highlighted by a big 8 run second inning and a 6 run fourth frame. Janessa Amesbury had a triple in the second inning and Jillian Weaver a double in the fourth for Byron-Bergen. Molly Cook had a single and a double on the day for Medina. Medina will next host Kendall in another non league contest at 5 p.m. Monday.
