KofC crowns free throw champs

Seven young area basketball enthusiasts earned top honors today at the Lockport Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest held at the newly refurbished DeSales Catholic School gymnasium. The winners who ranged in age from 9 to 14, included, from left, CJ Masters (14), Christopher Goyette (13), Carson Ransom (12), Cole Meller (11), Grant Harrer (10), Olivia Masters (10), and Henry Genewick (9). The winners, who received KofC medallions, will next compete in the District competition. In all 25 boys and girls participated in the competition.
