Roaring out to a commanding 19-0 lead at the outset, Northstar went on to defeat host Kendall 73-46 this afternoon in a non league boys basketball game.

Three baskets off turnovers, a three by Trey Roberts and two layups by Patrick Medeiros, ignited that decisive early uprising by the Knights which improve to 10-0 on the season.

Patrick Medeiros scored all 10 of his points in the opening stanza which finished with Northstar in command by 18 at 23-5.

The Knights, which went on to hold leads of 40-19 at the half and 54-30 at the three-quarter mark, also had Roberts with a total of 14, Matt Medeiros 13 and Miles Brown 12.

Jacob Ramsdell took game high scoring honors with 17 and Brandon Miller had 13 to lead the way for the undermanned Kendall squad which had only seven players in uniform for the contest. Ramsdell tallied 8 in the second period and Miller 7 in the fourth.

Collin Lewis and John Rath both added 5, Nathan Warters 4 and James Longrod 2 for the Eagles which next host Pembroke on Wednesday in a Genesee Region League game.
