Press Release, Hospice of Orleans

ALBION – Hospice of Orleans, Inc. was pleased to welcome staff from Albion’s KeyBank location for KeyBank’s 28th Annual Neighbors Make the Difference Day. The volunteers arrived on Wednesday afternoon and spent time on campus cleaning windows on all three buildings, including the Martin-Linsin Residence.

Martin-Linsin is an 8-bed facility that provides a home away from home for those patients who cannot remain in their own residence due to complex medical needs; home situations where the caregiver works or another family member requires care; or perhaps the patient is relocating to be closer to family in this area.

“Hospice is fortunate to have a large volunteer base that works in many different capacities all throughout the year,” said Kellie Spychalski, CEO of Hospice of Orleans. “Projects such as window washing can be a considerable time investment for just one person and many hands make light work, so we are incredibly thankful to, once again, count on KeyBank’s help with this project.”
