Key soccer matchups to highlight the upcoming high school sports week

Key boys and girls soccer matchups in both the Genesee Region and Niagara-Orleans Leagues will highlight the upcoming week of high school sports competition.
The undefeated (2-0, 5-0) defending champion Kendall girls soccer squad faces a pair of key G-R League Division 1 games hosting rival Holley on Tuesday and Byron-Bergen on Thursday, both at 6:30 p.m.
The defending N-O champion Medina/Lyndonville boys soccer squad (2-0) faces a busy three game week visiting Newfane (2-0) Monday and hosting Akron (2-1) on Wednesday and Wilson (1-0) on Friday, all at 4:30 p.m.
Three big N-O girls soccer matchups are also on tap this week as Roy-Hart (3-1) hosts Newfane (4-0) at 6:30 p.m. Monday while defending champion Wilson (4-0) visits Newfane and Akron (2-1-1) travels to Roy-Hart on Friday.
In N-O field hockey, defending champion Barker (2-0-1) visits front-running Akron (3-0) at 4:45 p.m. Thursday.
