Kendall U17 ties in soccer season finale

Rallying for a goal in the second half, Kendall closed out the Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls U17 Division season by earning a 1-1 tie with the visiting Genesee Lancers this evening.
Lizzie Sutphen scored the tying goal for Kendall with 8 minutes to go in the second half off an assist from Lizzie Woodams.
Katie Pearson handled the goaltending duties for Kendall whose defense was anchored by the quartet of T’Mia Kitchings, Julia Smith, Alezya Brown and Julie Coble.
Kendall, which also had a busy weekend going 0-3-1 at the Brockport Tournament, finishes the U17 Division season with a 6-3-3 record.
