Kendall Tournament begins on Thursday
The annual Kendall girls basketball tournament will get underway on Thursday with Barker vs. Holley at 5 p.m. and Medina vs. the host Lady Eagles at 7 p.m.
The consolation and championship games are scheduled for 2 and 4 p.m. Saturday.
Also Thursday evening, Lyndonville will host Elba at 7 p.m. in a Genesee Region League girls basketball opener.
In non league boys basketball action on Friday, Lyndonville will host Barker at 6:30 p.m. and Albion will entertain Palmyra-Macedon at 7 p.m.
Also on Friday a non league girls basketball game will have Albion at LeRoy at 7 p.m.
Cal-Mum 68, Lyndonville 25
Roaring out to a 30-4 first quarter lead, Caledonia-Mumford went on to defeat visiting Lyndonville 68-25 in a season opening non league boys basketball game this evening.
Jacob Pitcher scored 10, Colton Smith 7, Justin Higgins 6 and Dan Berry 2 for Lyndonville which trailed 48-7 at the half and 63-15 after three quarters.
