Kendall tops rival Holley in G-R soccer
Avenging an earlier season loss and a tie, Kendall downed rival Holley 3-1 in a Genesee Regon League boys soccer game this evening at Holley.
Kendall built up a 3-0 first half lead on goals by Colby Hughes, Brandon Barrett and Andrew Cole.
Eagles goalie Jonny Conte then came up with several big saves in the second half to keep the Eagles in control.
Chris Mosier scored Holley’s goal in the second half.
Kendall, which closes out the regular season with a G-R game at Lyndonville at 5 p.m. Thursday. is now 10-0-1 in the league and 13-1-1 overall.
Holley finishes the regular season at 7-3-2 in the legue and 11-3-2 overall.
The seeding meeting for the upcoming Section V playoffs is scheduled for Saturday.
