Kendall tops Chili in U18 girls soccer

Building up a 3-1 half-time advantage, Kendall went on to defeat visiting Chili 4-2 Thursday evening in a Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls U18 Division game.
Sarah Harrington opened the scoring for Kendall and Grace Levett and Lizzie Woodams followed up with tallies before half-time. Alayna Steffen earned the assist on Woodam’s goal.
Grace Robinson then netted Kendall’s lone goal in the second half on a header off a direct kick by Woodams.
Improving to 4-4-1, Kendall will close out the season at Canandaigua on July 28.
Wayne 3, Medina/Lyndonville 1
In another U18 contest, Wayne downed Medina/Lyndonville 3-1 at Albion.
Lily Carpenter scored the lone Medina/Lyndonville goal in the second half off an assist from Olivia Carter.
