Kendall tops Byron-Bergen in softball
Chelsea Wright hurled a 4 hitter with 5 strikeouts to lead Kendall to a 5-1 victory over visiting Byron-Bergen this afternoon in a Genesee Region League softball game.
Kendall took the lead for good by scoring twice in the third inning on a double by Taylor Kingsbury and a single by Madison Rath.
The Lady Eagles later plated three insurance runs in the fifth on a two run error and an RBI single by Sarah Gardner. A single by Kacey Menge and a walk set up the opportunity.
Kendall now faces Wheatland-Chili Friday to close out the regular season.
