Kendall splits twin bill in 17U diamond opener
Kendall earned a split of a doubleheader at Honeoye Falls-Lima Thursday to open the 17U baseball season.
Limited to just two hits in a 2-0 opening game loss, Kendall rebounded to post a 9-0 victory in the nightcap.
Nic Cole hurled a 1 hitter with 15 strikeouts in 6 innings of work on the mound for Kendall in the win.
Kendall scored three times in the sixth inning as Vinnie D’Agostino had a two-run double and Colby Hughes an RBI sacrifice fly.
Kendall then tacked on four insurance runs in the seventh on two walks and RBI singles by D’Agostino and Hughes.
