Kendall spikers top RAC; Medina places second at Starpoint Tournament
Improving to 4-1, Kendall defeated Rochester Academy Charter 25-10, 25-3, 25-9 this afternoon in a non league volleyball match.
Jessica Coble and Anna Oakley both had 8 aces for the Lady Eagles as Kelly Mayes added 4 kills and 2 digs and Olivia Caldwell was 9 for 9 from the service line with 4 aces.
Medina is second at Starpoint Tourney
Medina dropped a 25-10, 25-19 decision to Wilson this afternoon in the Gold Division championship match at the Starpoint Tournament.
Medina defeated Akron 30-18 and Wilson downed Starpoint 30-21 in the semifinals.
Medina’s Je’ne Brown, Wilson’s Madelyn Seeley, Akron’s Chooch Jonathan and Roy-Hart’s Aspen Moore all made the All-Tournament team.
Brown had 19 kills, Maddie Williams and Elle Gross 10 and Devin Griffin 8 on the day for Medina. Camri King added 10 aces and Brandi Guild 6.
