Kendall spikers rally to down W-C; Lyndonville tops Alexander in 5 set thriller

Kendall came battling back from a 2-0 set deficit to defeat Wheatland-Chili 20-25, 20-25, 25-11, 26-24, 25-12 this evening in a Genesee Region League volleyball match this evening.

Leading the way for the Lady Eagles were Jenna Regan with 14 kills, 3 digs and 5 aces; Brittney Marks  11 assists, 8 digs, 5 kills and 3 aces; Sunni Brice had 10 assists, 5 digs and 5 aces and Jessica Coble  5 aces, 7 digs and 5 kills.

Lyndonville 25-23-24-27-25, Alexander 21-25-26-25-21

In a wild five set G-R match which featured a pair of overtime sets, Lyndonville outlasted Alexander 25-21, 23-25, 24-26, 27-25, 25-21.

Alecia Hinkson had 3 aces and 7 kills, Paige Gardner 5 aces and 12 assists, Cassie Maynard 10 kills and Hananh Despard 18 digs for Lyndonville.

Jora Kusmierski had 19 assists and Ava Brown 10 digs for Alexander.
