Kendall takes top honors at G-R League golf tournament
Kendall took top individual and team honors at the annual Genesee Region League golf tournament held today at Stafford Country Club.
Kendall’s Evan Gaesser was the individual champion carding an 18 hole round of 70.
Gaesser edged out Lyndonville’s Patrick Hinkson who finished second by posting a score of 71.
The Eagles also had Jacob Adams place sixth with a round of 86.
The top six individual finishers advance to the sectionals which will be held at Ridgemont County Club in Greece.
Kendall also captured the tournament team championship with a score of 341.
The Eagles and runner-up Notre Dame, which had a score of 351, advance to the team sectionals which will be held May 23 at Livingston Country Club.
