Kendall sets school records at G-R meet

Kendall athletes set a pair of new school records at the Genesee Region League championship track meet on Saturday at Wheatland-Chili.

Ethan Kuhn set a new school record time of 1:02.82 with a second place finish in the 400 Hurdles and Derek Edick new a new school mark of 39-0.50 with a fourth place finish in the Triple Jump. Edick also placed fourth in the Long Jump.

Kuhn, Edick, Joseph Nettles and Nicholas Richards teamed up to place fourth in the 400 Relay and fifth in the 1600 Relay. Nettles also placed fourth in the 400.

In the girls competition, Alezya Brown placed fourth in the Triple Jump and Jenna Regan fifth in the Discus and sixth in the Shotput.

Holley’s Matt Hahn won the Discus (125-3) and placed third in the Shotput.

The Hawks quartet of KJ Biedlingmaier, Caleb Schultz, Ethan Hudzinski and Basile Guillo placed fifth in the 400 Relay.

For the Holley girls, Abrianna Kruger placed second in the 100 Hurdles, third in the Long Jump and fourth in both the 400 Hurdles and Pole Vault.

Julia Smith placed fourth in the 200, Ava Parr third in the High Jump and Allyson Skehan fifth in the Pole Vault.

The Lady Hawks also placed fifth in all three relays with Skyla Milazzo, Parr, Sarah Harrington and Autumn Bieber in the 3200, Parr, Bieber, Smith and Skehan in the 1600 and Ally Lyndaker, Smith, Parr and Milazzo in the 400.

Lyndonville’s Jon Slingerland placed fifth in the Pentathlon.
