Kendall scores two G-R diamond victories
Sweeping a rare Sunday doubleheader, Kendall defeated Alexander 5-4 and Elba 15-0 in Genesee Region League baseball action today at Alexander.
Nick Cole picked up the win on the mound for Kendall against Alexander as he scattered 5 hits and struck out 11.
At the plate, Louis Conte had 3 hits, including a two-run hit in the fifth inning, which helped give the Eagles a 5-2 lead.
Zach Barrett then banged out 5 hits and Conte 3 for Kendall in the win over Elba.
James Fox earned the win on the mound allowing just 2 hits and striking out 10 in five innings of work.
Now at 6-2 in the league and 8-2 overall, Kendall next hosts Lyndonville at 5 p.m. Monday.
