Roaring out to a commanding 5-0 half-time advantage, Kendall went on to defeat host Attica 7-0 this afternoon to lock up sole possession of a second straight Genesee Region League boys soccer title.

“The effort was great today,” said Eagles Coach Brian Duffy. “We went there with a goal and we came home with that goal achieved and you can’t ask for anything more than that.”

Two goals by Mookie Nauden along with one each by Jake Adams, Brandon Lewis and Keith Salyer put the Eagles in command in the first half. Adams also had two assists on the day.

Riley Reis and Justin Barrett each scored a goal in the second half to cap off the Eagles big win.

Kendall finishes the G-R season at 8-0-2 while Attica drops to 1-7. The Eagles are now 12-0-2 overall.

In one other G-R contest, Wheatland-Chili (7-2) blanked visiting Holley (4-3-2) 2-0.
